Hi! I’m Yoona Hwang, a Storyboard Artist, 3D Environment Modeler, and Animator with a passion for creating stories through animation that leave a lasting impression. I enjoy shaping stories from the first storyboard sketch to the final frame, with a particular interest in environment modeling and visual storytelling. Curious by nature, I enjoy solving creative and technical challenges to continually refine my craft.

With an MFA in Animation from SCAD, I’ve collaborated across storyboarding, environment modeling, and animation throughout team productions. I welcome feedback and enjoy working with creative teams, helping foster a positive and collaborative environment. I approach every project with thoughtful creative decisions, believing the best work comes from collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. Whether I’m designing a sequence, building a world, or animating a performance, my goal is to create meaningful experiences that resonate with audiences while continually growing as both an artist and a creative collaborator.

Aren’t you curious what made her suffering in Porto while traveling alone?

Her friend and she just decided to go to Hong Kong only to see their favorite artist!

She went on the Camino Inglés with her two friends before graduating from college. (The college gave them a scholarship when they completed the Camino.) Was this the main reason? Nobody knows. :)

After a year, she decided to go back to walk the Camino again ALONE before moving to the United States to study Animation!
It was a much longer journey than the one she took with her friends... Did she survive? And did she actually walk alone?
